Anyone else going to be there?  Anyone else hate the Knitting Factory main stage quite as much as I do?

I won't be there, and that makes my heart sad :(

But have fun for me!

I saw him at the 40-Watt in Athens GA and he rocked a whole lot.  I mean, a whole lot.  Even though his voice was rough you could not stop him.

Also, the Duke Spirit, one of the opening bands, is really good.

Good concert.

Ted's voice was almost completely blown, so he set about trying to leave as much of his larynx on the stage as possible.  He also decided that he was going to punk out, and (intentionally) hit himself in the forehead with his mic hard enough to draw blood, in the second encore.   It's always fun to go to the last show of a tour!

Edit: Also, The Duke Spirit were awesome.  Here is the singer raising the roof while the guitarist and bassist avert their eyes:

Hah, good to see that Ted is still sweating through every single article of clothing he has.  His voice died about three songs in and then he decided to ruin it even more by rocking out even harder.

Also, I hung out a bit with that girl from the Duke Spirit, I was really impressed by her band.  I certainly wasn't expecting an opener to be that good.

Does Ted have ADD or something? Last time I saw him live, between bouts at the microphone, he would be examining the curtains on the stage. He just seemed really hyperactive.

man i do love me some live ted leo.  i proposed to my fiance at a ted leo show.  I was tempted to try and visit my brother in NY to see him, but too short on cash i guess.  i noticed Ted played a show in houstin with Rogue Wave.  That's a dream show right there.
