Acoustic-Electric Recommendation?

Could I get some recommendations on an inexpensive/good acoustic-electric guitar? The inexpensive part is pretty important, but I want the most bang for my buck. Much appreciated.

If you can muster $250 or so, then Dean Performer E is one of the best valued in that money area. If you can get more, then ANY Taylor will be the best. Taylors cost a lot though.

However, it depends on what kind of guitar you are looking for (what is your playing style)?

Edit: The Taylor 414ce is what I play now, and is the best acoustic-electric or acoustic I have ever tried (including all sorts of martins, higher end taylors, and breedloves)

The user reviews I'm looking at on musiciansfriend for the Dean Performer E look very good. It's in my price range, so I definitely may go this route, thank you.
