GoT has been pretty explicit in showing you people die. But not this time.

We didn't see Stannis die.
We didn't see Sansa die.
We didn't see Theon die.
We didn't see Arya die.
We didn't see Myrcella die.

But we did see Selyse die and we did see Jon Snow die (or at least we think we did).

That's a lot of doors left wide open.

I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be implied that Sansa and Theon dies, they jump into the snow. They might have made the walls look too tall and the snow too shallow for that to seem obvious tho. And it's never implied that Arya dies, she just goes blind because of House of Black & White reasons.

Stannis is probably definitely dead. Based on actor interviews.
Sansa and Theon jumped into a deep snowbank. Not only is it possible they survived, but it's more likely than not. People have survived HIGH falls into snow.
We can assume Myrcella is dead based on the Sand Snakes' penchant for wearing the only antidotes to their poisons around their necks. Ellaria drank the antidote.
Arya isn't dying, she's going blind as punishment. It's something that happens in the books, albeit it a bit earlier in the overall storyline than now.

So the last Bartheon is dead...except for Gendry.

So Dany has a Lannister in her employ.  If they can get Gendry and a Stark, she'll have the heirs to the houses that cast down her father, raise her back to the throne.  Well except the Vale...but they don't do shit anyways.

But right now I'm hoping that HBO will put out a statement saying that the series is on hiatus for a year or that GRRM anounces that he's gone off the books now and is going to write a book of poetry about his favourite zoo animals. I stumbled upon a theory about the parentage about a certain character in Game of Thrones

Gendy may be the son of Robert Baratheon AND Cersi Lannister.

Maggy's prophecy only answered how many children Robert would have and Cersi would have separately but never mentioned any together which she could have omitted.  GRRM always said that the prophecies are often misunderstood and vague.

Cersi had a baby with Robert but "lost" it.  Never fully explained how.  We assume miscarriage but it was never explicitly said.  She could have given him away because she hated Robert but loved Jamie and wanted babies with him.

Gendry remembers little of his mother.  Only that she had "golden hair" and sang to him.  For all he knew she could have been a tavern wench.  It is known that Cersi would disguise herself as a commoner sometimes and go out to bars and taverns.

It is an interesting theory to say the least.  It has its points and GRRM likes to mess with us.  I am not going to necessarily say I buy into this theory but if it turns out to be true, I would not be surprised.

It would also explain why Jon Arryn said "the seed is strong" when he dies.  Being that Gendry would be noble birth on both sides of his family and in wed lock, therefore legitimate and not a bastard.  If he figured it all out that is.

Recent fan theory for next season:
Jon Snow has a twin.

So a new theory discusses that Jon Snow may have a twin.  The idea stems from the fact that R+L=J and that the promise Lyanna asks Ned is to keep her children safe.  Considering that 2 people are left at the Tower of Joy, Ned takes one (Jon) and Howland Reed takes the other Meera.  She is about the same age as Jon in the books, has dark hair like him too.  It would also increase the survival chances of Lyanna's children to split them up in case one is found out.  She could also be the 3rd head of the dragon, and a surprise one at that.

When Jojen dies he does tell her to go that she has to make it.  Now perhaps its just what he sees as a seer or that Jojen knows her actual parentage.

Jon can still come back and end up being Azor Ahai or whatever via the Melisandra, but this is an interesting theory.
