Can we change this to a general culinary arts thread? I don't bake as much, but I would like to discuss my cooking marvels. :P

Anyways, I once made spaghetti. And because I was sore and tired, it was plain. Nothing better than unseasoned spaghetti. But then I decided to be original, so I added mustard and pepper. Strange.

Cupcakes are a tastier way of saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY! These, when arranged properly, said "Nik, happy 19th birthday! <3, Sunny". The second photo is the truest representation of their colour. I used my own cake recipe (it's so simple, I love it!) and the Wilton buttercream frosting recipe (the frosting is tinted with the Wilton gel colours)

Those look yummy.  Did you make the flowers using the Wilton squeezy flower-making tool?  I've always wanted to try doing that.

Yeah I used the gigantic star tip in a plain piping bag. It's not too difficult, though, those aren't the most perfect piped-flowers you'll ever see.

I'll have to take a pic of a piece tomorrow, because I forgot to take one of the finished product before the family got to it, but I made the Chocolate Sformato with Amaretto Whip Cream recipe from food network. My husband said it was one of the best deserts he's ever tasted. It's kind of mousse like. Very tasty.

Oh, the other day I made almond pancakes with cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Slathered them with sweet cream butter and drizzled clove honey over them. Didn't think about pictures until they were all gone.

Kinda.  Ceiling Cat has a low post count, but gave us some Bowie in his/her other post.  Anyone who posts Bowie can't be all bad.
