Your accusing people left and right, aren't you? Well, I'm not going to accuse you for now, since I don't think you had any reason to kill Ballard, but I'm keeping my eye on you...

No, I accuse TYLER. You bought Ballard food, did you not? Pizza if I remember correctly while we were in New York, but that wasn't enough for him, he wanted one of the pieces of pepperoni off of yours, and it made you snap didn't it? DIDN'T it?!

P.S. Can we play this for real in Toronto? Pretty please?

Dammit. I would say I wish I wasn't graduating, but I really want to graduate! But I want to go to Toronto, too! DAMMIT.

So far we have votes for KT, Tyler, and Rally. (Can't tell if you really wanted to accuse Slick or not.)

Seriously Linds, Graduating is over-rated. Just do it in September or something.

At this stage in the game I have no real evidence, so I'll just vote RallyMonkey with Matt and Mr. Slick over there.

Even though this game is "mafia," I'm much more interested in who the "village idiot" is. I've never played with one of those before. Linds, did you assign something that role? *curious*

Slick: But...then I have to take classes during the summer that I don't need. (My uni is silly and on quarters and we don't get out until the beginning of June.) If the day of graduation is before Toronto and I have money left over from when I'm going to NY and supplies, I will try. Or you could post pictures. Gowrsh.

KT-1
Tyler-1
Rally-4
Boro-1

Only 1 more vote to put RallyMonkey on trial. And yes, I assigned the village idiot. (That role has quite a bit of freedom, so the player plays as they choose. I'll say who was who at the end.)

Technically everyone votes, so we can't figure out too easily who anyone is. At least that's the way I've always played.

The village idiot, if you guys want to use that character, tries to confuse everyone on purpose.

To try to figure out who is who, you just have to pay close attention. I know most of you haven't played before, but you'll start to figure it out later on.

I came to this town meeting today to cast my vote, and I must say, I am appalled.

There is no possible way that I could have been the one who killed Ballard. He was a friend to me. Back when I was just a small child, he taught me how to tie my shoes. I wear shoes every day God damnit! And every day, I look down at my shoes, and I think of him. Now, when I look down at my shoes, all I will be able to think about is the terror reign of this mafia.

My shoes may now be covered in blood, but my hands are clean.

My god, the bond of shoetying is one that must never be broken. I say Not Guilty, we must not let the mob mentality (so to speak) destroy our reason and make us forget that Ballard taught a monkey to tie its shoes.

Guys, guys, didn't your ever learn that two wrongs don't make a right in pre-school? There has been a bloody death (oww, fuckers), and killing another will only make things worse.

That said, that bastard Slick is a little too eager to chop up RallyMonkey.

I would not be as offended by your accusations, if not for the fact that I never called you a name. Your lack of reading abilities disturbs me. Almost as if when the average citizen, such as myself, was busy learning to read in school, you were learning how to kill a man using only a duck and a hanger.

Suspicious.

Exactly, and I am not innocent. I've killed a man before. Down in El Paso. Killed him for cheating at cards. But I ain't never, never I tell you, killed anybody in this here town. This town is my home. You do not piss in your own pool, not by a damn sight.

MAFIA MURDER STRIKES TOWN
Supersheep, reporting from Capital City

A FRENZY HAS STRUCK NOWHERESVILLE, writes our Crime Correspondent, which has
been shocked by the callous mafia murder of Ballard, a young gentleman with no known
connections to organised crime. Mr Ballard had been hung by his jaw, a trademark pun-
ishment of the Plexington mob.
Suspicion immediately fell on RallyMonkey, another resident of the town. This intrepid
reporter spoke to a local in a spiffy suit who knew Mr. RallyMonkey, and was informed of
suspicious behaviour, although this character seemed pretty shady himself. RallyMonkey
may also have condemned himself out of his own mouth when he admitted in court to-
day that he was found with blood on his shoes.

^Nice one.

BALLARD! You are dead! There are no zombies in this game! Besides, zombies don't have coherent speech anyways, they only go, "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmgraaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhbrainssssssss." So hush, you. Jhocking, the same goes for you. We already tarred and feathered your ass, don't make me do it again.

For the record guys, we're only doing guilty/not guilty. We'll point fingers again next round. So you can be suspicious all you want, just make sure you say whether or not RallyMonkey is guilty or not guilty.

Definite responses: (Will update.)
Guilty - 5
Not Guilty - 1

I don't know if that's quite fair...
I mean, how many non-mafia do the mafia then need convince to get a kill? I'm much more a fan of the 50% requirement to get something done, though I suppose five is fine to go to trial.
Also how many mafia are there anyways?

I'm doing 5 for each because I would actually like to finish the game. I honestly prefer 50% too, but like mberan said, this would last until Christmas if I did that. Also, since the way I've always played it you never knew how many mafia there are, I'm not going to say, but there are still more townspeople than key roles combined.

So for reference for the next round:
The first person to be accused 5 times will be sentenced.
The first decision (g/ng) with five votes is put into effect.
Every round, someone will be accused, even if no one is killed, and will followed by a trial.

I think there is also an AM NAM NAM BRAAAAAINS option in the contract, too, but I am not sure about that one clause.
