Mine does. Well my old one did. This is my first Haircut since my hairdresser of 7 years moved to Australia, my friend from school did it for free, she is very very ace, but not even close to my style or pop culture references, she is however a good listener & hairdresser:

I didn't give her a photo, but we had discussed what I wanted beforehand & also how I like to wear it, how much time I have to spend on it etc. (It looks a bit crappy because I have been running around in the wind all day)

If you do take a photo in, don't take one, take as many as possible, from different angles, also if they can't cut it exactly right due to your type of hair they have more than one reference to work from. My sister made that mistake years ago, she took in a picture of Justine from Elastica, but they completely screwed up the back, they didn't cut it badly, just not how she wanted it.

So, yeah, as I said, I cut my hair. It sort of started out with my boyfriend telling me not to and me doing it because when people tell me I can't do something, I tend to do it. He wanted me to go to an actual stylist. But I think I did an alright job for it being 2amish, and having dull scissors. Also, I did properly lube up my head, and somehow still managed to super dye it as well. Oh well.

Were you going for super-understated blue or bright blue? The latter might be more easily achieved with lots of bleach.

I'm allergic to it. And most hair dyes. I'll actually die if I used them. No joke, the last time I used a regular hair dye, I ended up in the hospital.

But like I said, I don't feel like the pictures do the color justice. I was expecting it to not be super noticeable, but man. This is the blueishest my hair has ever been. It really came out a lot more greener/turquoise-y than the pictures show. I expected it to look like dark hair with shiny blueish parts, and it came out very very blue.

Your hair is gorgeous! Take it to a hairdressers, get the bottom shaped into a sort of curve and maybe a tiny bit of layering if it won't cause massive poofiness, and then walk around looking like a Rossetti painting.

I spoke to my girlfriend, a hairdresser who has done the Royal Sydney Fashion Show and a number of Jimmy Choo shoots (apparently he is a fancy designer), and she has assured me it is pretty easy to do as long as I put the effort into maintaining it. I only wish I could grow the mustache as well.

I did this! I'm very much naturally blonde and got very very bored of it. I started putting darker streaks into it and then I just thought "you know what, fuck it!" and I went all over brunette. I don't think I will ever want to go back to blonde, I love love love it.

I'd say do it, you seem to have a similar complexion to me, so it won't look out of place or silly. Also, I find that being a brunette, my hair looks healthier and shinier as well.

So uhhhh I wanna cut my hair short, because my current style (or rather, lack there of) is kinda irritating me. Suggestions (preferably with picture reference?)
