Admittedly, I don't lurk I Like Fish, but rather the part of the forums that I understand isn't frequented by the majority of the community. (namely, the WCT threads and Comic Discussion)

Guys, I am disappointed with how swiftly this conversation has veered away from how awesome a mod I would make.

When I am mod, the zombie thread will be stickied and Joe Hocking will be chained to a tree and forced to make sound bites for every forumite I give a shit about.

Hey Jon! You know that the only power mods have is to edit posts, lock, sticky, and move threads?
You can't do a lot of the things you said you wanted to if you were a mod.

Except maybe if I could be a mod too but not so that I had responsibilities and stuff that detracted from my enjoyment due to the burden of responsibility and respectability but instead just so I could say silly things in locked threads because I think that'd be fun.
