You sir, are the first person I have ever met, including myself, who has actually enjoyed the Jpod tv show.  I have read 2 Coupland books, including the Nostradamus one and Jpod and I personally find them to be quite boring.  There's something about him that just repels me from his writing.  I've seen a couple interviews with him and the guy is just crazy, and not in a good way.  The CBC doesn't make a lot of quality programming and I saw an episode of Jpod that absolutely made my mind bleed.

Clone High gets really old really quickly, as in I can only watch the series once through and then not again for months, especially when people start quoting it at me. And Family Guy is worse than most reality tv. For reals.

Those are like his two worst books. Give All Families Are Psychotic or Miss Wyoming a shot. Life After God is good too.

My roomate just got a copy of The Gum Thief from his stalker. I read the first bit, it was like hearing my inner voice bitch and moan on a bad day about absolutely nothing, and I get enough of that during panic attacks. I understand the appeal, and it was very well written, I might give it another chance, hell I probably will.
It's kind of weird realizing that you might be a character in a post modern literature novel...
