Spluff. . . I believe I was around 18 -- and they were able to remove it. Guitar is currently out of commission, waiting for an electronics check-up. She was hurt more than I in the process.

I'm suprised they didn't have something more terrifying, one of my local museums had a dust mite at about that size. Believe me, the house was spotless for a good month after that.

Also, have you ever thought of going into "posters for horror films/ 1950's B movies" because that pic is probably be considered a classic, all it needs is "IT CAME FROM SPACE" written underneath it.

It would have probably made more sense to have a big blown-up microorganism, being the Anton van Leeuwenhoek exhibit and all, but that doesn't quite have the shock power that museum seems to go for.
I mean, this is a curator with a whole section of things like this lovely encephalitis baby in formaldehyde

Hey, here's a terrible drunken picture of me playing LOTR Risk that doesn't really show my hand!

I always though I had little hands, due to the fact that I can only stretch to an octave+1 on a piano despite playing for a long time. Recently I established that while I have short fingers they're actually pretty big - "average" for a man according to some ring manufacturers. Oh great, short and fat.

I finished a scarf! This is (sadly) the fist thing I have knitted without my mum helping in some way, so I am really proud that it turned out well. I look super enthusiastic about wearing a scarf outside in the middle of summer, don't I?
