Unfortunately, yes. This article makes it a little more sensational than it really was. I don't believe it was a "gang-style attack" and really, the details are sketchy. It's questionable as to whether or not she was unconcious at the time, but the weapon mentioned was a beer bottle.

I have quite possibly the most embarrassing then/now photos!

This is at age 13, 7th grade >.< I'm the one in blue+white with the very frightening smile. Chris is actually here too, sporting a horrible mohawk! It's crazy that he happens to be in this picture since I don't think I actually really met him until 4 years later.

Now we're way more put together;)

I should order some nice-looking shirts with the Christmas/birthday money people sent me. I have assloads of rad t-shirts but almost no nice shirts that I actually like/actually fit me. All my nice shirts are baggy as hell.

I like the fork and the little dainty mouthful. It suggests that you are merely POSING FOR THE CAMERA.

Jens, I get spontaneous nosebleeds pretty regularly but they usually coincide with bleeding from another orifice if you know what I mean (I will not spell it out) so that isn't your problem. Thinking about it, they've slowed up and been much less common since I started giving blood, which is something that I was told might happen. Basically your nosebleeds are a sign that you need to be more generous with your bodily fluids.

Chris, you should tell him how fast I ate that fucker, and then tell him about how I went back for seconds (that were even larger) and ate all of that hella fast too. Also, May, my hands are just large, that is why it looks weird when I hold a fork.
