I honestly don't see why none of you like Millionaires. They're operating in the same general area as Le Tigre or Chicks On Speed; the only tonal difference between them and brat-punk bands like, uh, Bratmobile is that they're lampooning the California/club aesthetic.

It's not just me, either, I posted a link to Millionaires on a local indie-fucks message board and pretty much everyone I know on there agree'd they're awesomely ridiculous and ridiculously awesome.

I love you sir, but it don't mean I understand you. At all. The difference, from where I'm standing, seems to be that Le Tigre are the slightest bit enjoyable. Whereas Millionaires, on a scale from 1 to enjoyable, land somewhere around "OH GOD MAKE IT END"

What I meant by the Le Tigre comparison is that their attitude is pretty similar, just in a different style/scene. It's still "I'm a girl, no I won't fuck you, I kick ass motherfucker" music.

Though I'm confused if you can't hear ANY musical similarities between Millionaires and Le Tigre or Chicks On Speed or Peaches or Lesbians On Ecstasy or any of that.

Well I lost respect for Tremont when Penny booked Vanilla Ice's poo-rap-metal comeback. But some friends actually opened for him and said he was a really cool dude. if you read the comments for brokenCYDE's page you will notice that 99.9% of their fans are white teenage girls who probably wouldn't know what real music was if it hit them in the teeth. -They sing about being lonely teenagers. If you are in your mid-twenties and you haven't gotten the fuck over your teen years, then your village needs pillaging.

-Their music videos feature a bunch of kids dancing furiously to their music at a concert. This implies that:

Brokencyde, on the other hand, is probably the most laughably intolerable music I've ever heard.
