Ghosts by Silver Starling.

I downloaded their debut a while ago, I am now, taking a listen to some of the tracks. I really like this one.

My work plays nothing but things such as Britney Spears, Coldplay, Backstreet Boys, Bon Jovi, Savage Gardens (though I love Savage Gardens). So I'm making some mix CD's and smuggling in a CD player to work.

I'm listening to the Chieftains because I'm on the Celtic mix right now.

"i want it that way" by the backstreet boys.  i signed up to sing it at karaoke with some mates last night, but they closed the pub before we got the chance.  so we've all agreed to do it next friday.  and it's going to be epic.

it's also a genuinely good pop song, and if you disagree, i will fucking fight you.
What will you do if I agree with you?

i'd invite you to bring your bad self to boston (the original one in lincolnshire, england) this friday and join in said karaoke session!

their new EP planets of old is actually getting released on CD, with a bonus DVD thing soon!  that's gonna be epic!  "retina sees rewind" is one of the best songs they've ever done!

for some reason, my recent listenage has consisted almost entirely of pop-punk in the vein of copyrights/dear landlord/off with their heads, and then loads of dresden dolls/amanda palmer.  weird combo, but it works for me!

Some sage advice from Andrew W.K. also:

Finally listening to this after my girlfriend got it for me a long while ago.  Final thoughts:  quite nice rock.  I would've liked more punk or metal, but this was still very good.
