I like Tool. Maynard Keenan isn't God though. Hell, he's not even as good as Pepper Keenan.
other than carey, i don't think any of them are god-like musicians, the guitarist and bassist rely on a lot of effects, and maynard is a great singer, but not the best. however, i've always felt they're one of those bands where they're more than the sum of their parts. i mean, listen to AEnima or 10,000 days all the way through, they're some pretty amazing pieces of work. undertow and lateralus slightly less so, but still good. i do have to be in the right mood for their stuff though.
