OS/2 FTW - it's way ahead of crappy Windows in the Internet stakes. [The OS/2 server I left running at my last company was only shut down in 2008, probably because they didn't know how...]

In other news, I got divorced (oddly, this seemed to be a result of recovering from cancer) and then remarried (marriage gets to be a comfortable state of being after a couple of decades, you know).

I am going to be twenty in less than a week, THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING ME FEEL DECREPIT.
I'm going to go and watch some GOOD Disney movies, listen to some Nsync, [LANCE IS SO HOT AND WE'RE GONNA GET MARRIED SOMEDAY], and then I'm going to play The Sims until my eyes start to bleed.

Hey guys, have you read this cool series called animorphs? They are going to make a TV series of it, but I don't get cable, so I can't watch it (true to this day), I'll try to get the VHS at blockbuster when it comes out.

I'm not sure I get what is defined as "__ nostalgia", is it dressing in a similar way, listening to the music, or is it actually wishing you lived in that time? That just seems odd to me.

Still makes me feel old that The Sims 3 is coming out in like, three weeks or something.

Wow, 16 weeks for Bryan Adams? I had no idea the UK had such a stiffy going for Everything I Do, even if it was a monster hit in other countries as well.

The main reason people loved "Everything I Do" was because it was the song from the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. It's hard to fathom these days just how popular that film was back in 1991. Especially the arrow-cam shot: folks went wild for that bit.

Actually, I saw that movie in the theater with my grandfather. It was the Best Thing. The trip I mean, not the movie; I was 9 years old, plus nobody else was in the theater so I could leave my seat whenever I wanted. I also found a $20 bill on the floor which I used to buy icecream and a ninja turtle. Best. Trip. Ever.

I'm too young to play Killer Instinct, but that doesn't stop me from watching while my older cousin plays.

In other news, we just got Final Fantasy VII, but all I really wanted was Final Fantasy VI for my SNES.
