Hmm, just looking at the site/rules, seems like the utility spots are all active. That said, I'll actually go ahead with the deal anyway if you're still interested.

Though that news effectively kills even my most remote hope of ever prying Prince Fielder away from Shane.

Fuck you Shane, you have like 4 people eligible to play first base and you won't trade ANY of them.

I don't hate you Shane, I have a first basemen (yay for this). I just hate everyone who has a somewhat decent outfield.

I don't hate you, Shane. I just wish I had Prince Fielder and am very disappointed in your for having such a devastating infield for someone who was on autopick.

Gotta do some visiting with the parents tonight, but I've got seven outfielders, three first basemen, and three third basemen, some of whom I might be interested in dealing off later tonight.  If one of 'em catches your eye let me know.  Except Ryan Howard and Grady Sizemore, not dealin' them away unless you got somethin' real good for me.

And yeah I agree completely about the fantasy football trades.  They are usually the worst things

I mean, sometimes I can kinda see where they might have thought these trades were legit (name confusion, etc.), but sometimes it's just like, do you really think I'm that dumb?

"Giving you Peyton Manning and LaDanian Tomlinson for Ladell Betts?  Awesome!  You're so screwed now, dude."

You might consider hitting up the trading block section. You can list players you're shopping as well as stats and positions you're looking for. Quite nifty.

I'm not sure I have a good deal to give you.  I was thinking Laroche and Maine for an outfielder and a reliever, but I don't think Percival and Lewis match up one for one.  I might be willing to trade two outfielders and a relievers, so preemptively the trade would have been Laroche and Maine for Bourn, Lewis, and probably Percival.  Frankly, I don't think it's that good of a trade, but what do you think Shane?

Goodbye, Pedro, you were a joke pick anyways.

Hopefully Buchholz pitches like he did in spring training if he comes up this season (Though the fan in me hopes he makes a couple spot starts toward the end of the season at best, because I wanna see all the Sox pitchers just absolutely dealing).

Opening day rained out fuckfuckfuckfuck.

And honestly, I'd love to see Buchholz come up and pitch great, since it's pretty much a guarentee that Penny or Wakefield will go down eventually.

An untested closer I reached for allowed like 4 runs in one inning. Disaster doesn't even really cover it. He might as well have just sauntered out there and pooped on the mound.

Dear god I'm glad I made that Adrian Gonzalez deal.  Hopefully Felipe Lopez is consistently as money as he was today.

Considering his generally average numbers, I wouldn't bank on it. He's a third of the way to last year's home run totals for this season and I'd consider it more likely related to the fact no one seemed to be able to keep it in the yard (Eight home runs in one nine inning game) than anything.

Figures I go for Uggla over Kendrick for the added power and Kendrick blasts one. Should pan out in the long term, but it stung last night.

The only downside to yesterday for me is that fuck Beltran botching a throw that probably cost me a quality start and a likely 0.00 ERA on the day.

Yeah in retrospect cutting Duchscherer might come back to bite me in the ass, but I was still thinking in terms of football, where a guy at any position missing like 6-8 weeks makes him pretty much fantasy useless.

Dammit.

Also, I'd like to thank whoever dropped Brandon Morrow, because now I got my third relief pitcher for free! Between that and Dook, I'm doing pretty well with snapping up other people's castoffs.
