"Reverse Bechdel test"?
So...two men, having a conversation about nothing but women? Hmm.
Also, note that a mainstream film is generally, in essence, a short story. Due to the way storytelling conventions unfold, the Bechdel test, as she herself has noted, in the "I won't see this unless..." sense, would typically exclude any film with a male protagonist even in a perfect world (since most conversations shown not involving him would be about him in some way). However, there are at least two conclusions to be drawn...
A: The number of films that fail the test show a dearth of strong female protagonists.
B: The number of films that fail the test despite having female protagonists...yeah.
