Friday's comic was the opposite of a cliffhanger. I have no idea what to expect for this coming week.

Okay, I guess that's more of an opposite than what I meant, but I mean there's nothing in the comic that says "Wow, I wonder how X is going to get out of that situation, can't wait for Monday when X gets out of that situation." Where will Monday's strip even take place? The library? Maybe that's all Jeph wanted to do in that scene. We don't know! Maybe it is a cliffhanger!

Monday's strip is likely to continue from Friday's in some way, because Jeph said in Twitter that they had to be in that order.

Definitive to the extent that every character would have to die.

Notice how negative Faye is not being! No angry dismissals, no weird accusations, etc. Compare and contrast to her reaction to Wil.

Even if this is going to be a Just Friends thing, it's good for her to have more friends.

What I want to know is... since when has Dora had boobs?

I mean, that are pretty equal in size to Faye's.

I love Dora's shorter hair but I really like the two-tone. I think it distinguishes her from the other girls and I can see her keeping it. I could also see a trend where, like black chicks, she starts doing a different hairstyle everyday. Today pixie cut, tomorrow cornrows!

Dora as a full blonde does indeed evoke a "My mind, she is blown" reaction, but there is a long tradition of Dora experimenting with her hair.

Even the name "Dora Bianchi" is an anagram for "cabin hairdo".

Despite his journey of self-discovery, Wil is still capable of producing an Awkward Zone. Good thing Pennelope was able to defeat it.

Anyone else get the feeling that Wil's trip was like Babbit's fling with the socialists, an apparent experiment but one with no lasting results?

Dora's new hair isn't as cute as her other one. I liked the length since it wasn't as short as Tai's, Hanner's, Faye's or Raven's. Now Penelope is the one one with long hair, sadness. On the other hand, Wil's back! Lovin' his new hair. Today's strip was highly enjoyable.

Wil, you're disappointing me.  You've got an attractive young lady in your arms who obviously cares for you and you're disappointed that the right theme music wasn't on in the background?

But a little Thorogood would have gone well there, so I can see your point.

I'm not black and my I change my hair up all the time. Case in point, I'm getting it colored a plummy purple shortly. I usually fuss with my hair so often that it is rarely past my shoulders for long. Might also cut it this weekend, not sure. It's summer and getting hotter and my hair is this thick, heavy curling mass, but I've never let it grow this long before, it's down to my ass, and I'm reluctant to cut it. I've forced myself not to cut it, though it has been dyed a few times, because I want to see how long I can grow it before it drives me utterly insane. We're getting there.

I think it's more to do with fashion trends in certain areas/cultures than race.

They were just doing typical white male stuff like A) assuming you're also a white male and B) paranoid-ly distancing themselves from anything they think "smells like" racism (such as mentioning race in any context)

A) You're assuming they're both white males and B) if someone makes a comment where they are saying that someone does something just like (insert race or minority) do and and all you have to go on is text, you can't always tell how they might mean it. Especially when it's something of a stereotypical nature.

Darn it! I got all caught up in that stuff and forgot that I originally came in here to sqwee about the return of Wil! Yay, Wil! Now someone give that poor boy a muffin? It looks like he's missed a few meals.

A) You're assuming they're both white males

B) if someone makes a comment where they are saying that someone does something just like (insert race or minority) do and and all you have to go on is text, you can't always tell how they might mean it.

So obviously the logical reaction is to assume the worst.

It's not a stereotype I ever heard of. Maybe they assumed it was a stereotype because it mentioned race?
