i am a big fan of faye's pee jig and her face in panels three and four. very funny and realistic, because having to pee desperately is a horrible thing and necessitates horrible facial expressions.

I don't think Dora was that bad before, it was only really one or two incidents that she realized she was wrong about right after. If Dora was really that possessive she would have insisted Marten end the friendship with Faye long ago. She's the only other one in that cast he could have realistically ended up with.

Even if Marten wasn't with Dora, it's not like there are a whole lot of alternatives; Steve is with the library girl (probably), Sven is too unfaithful for her, Jimbo is too drunk all the time, and that leaves...Agent Turing?

Especialy since there was an alarming amount of creepyness occuring in the chat portion of the ustream broadcast. I recall Jeph actualy telling people to tone it down at one point. And while he was trying to work to! Sometimes i worry for the human race...

Faye's sort of the opposite of a mean drunk: she's mean when she's sober.

Should she be getting drunk, though? She could lapse back into having a Problem.

"Mar-mar" would be a fun nickname, foreshadowed by the Dora/Marten dialog consisting entirely of saying just that.

Name-burping has also come up before, with Faye having trouble burping "Whitaker".

My nickname is Mari ... I think I'd have to punch anyone who called me Mar-Mar ... probably in the face. I normally don't like to hit people in the face, but I'd make an exception.

That's worse than when I was a kid and my schoolmates tried to tease me by calling me eskimo or esquirrel ... yeah, they were lame, but it was mostly because they didn't have the guts to be mean to me.

AFAIK, shippers are those sick and depraved people , who take random two (usually both female ) chars, and then disgustingly fantasize about them engaging in intercourse and indeed call it fanfic
