I would call that more of a teaser than an actual trailer.
I would also say that I am tentatively excited about GW2. I hear you can jump now, which has further ramifications than just "you can jump." To me that signals a move toward a more open landscape, which is something that GW1 seemed to be working toward but never effectively delivered for me. I always hated the feeling of being on virtual tracks, so the news is a big plus in my reckoning.
What is a bit of a negative is that they've gone the usual "oooooh, gnomish technology!" route. I really don't understand why it always has to be gnomes that introduce this shit into the world. Why not just have human (or whoever, really)-created steam-driven devices for the more simple tech like zeppelins, steamboats, steamtrains, steamwagons and the like, or perhaps at a stretch steam-driven turbines to run simple electrical items like lights (etc) and have advances in magical devices for others, perhaps with some crossover between the two?
