Check out the cover art too, it goes along with the atmosphere of the album nicely.

I always imagine the Paris sewers when I listen to the more ambient parts of this album (especially #7, which is my favourite song on there)

The council is for doing commentary on the matches and match results, helping with seeding, and voting on tiebreakers in the results. It's to make this into more of an event, rather than just "X beat Y, see you tomorrow for Y versus Z".

I don't think it'd be as fun for anyone if it was reduced to that?

But see, the fun of the thread generally comes from the snide commentary of the voters. You can join in at will, too! You don't need a council of elders to enjoy a poll like this. You can count the votes, make the brackets, AND have fun little back-and-forths with the voters all at the same time. There's no stress to be super-organized, because that sort of thing turns a game into an actual boring election. The only thing that really needs to happen is for you and whoever else to count the votes accurately and make a little whizbang bracket for the next round.

It's not restricted to the council, go ahead and talk and discuss all you want, I don't care.

It's just an additional thing.

The council's commentary will be within the body of the results.

Example: For the unvalling of the brackets, it will a bit like the following...

MATCH ONE: 1.) BAND X - ALBUM A VS. 16.) BAND Z - ALBUM B

Thing 1: Well, what the fuck. Band Z's third album was way better anyway, why the fuck wasn't that in instead of this one?
Thing 2: I disagree, you're fucking retarded.
Thing 1: You're right! Let's all get along forever.

MATCH TWO: 2.) BAND F - ALBUM D VS. 15.) BAND R - ALBUM K

Etcetera. You guys can then commentate all you wish on everything else. Sorry if this was unclear!
