Got this game last night, it keeps getting better and better. I was playing it split screen with my friends and neither of us wanted to stop playing (so we didn't until 5am).

Gamertag's daaanosaur on the 360, I added a couple of you who posted in this thread. I want to play more co-op!

My copy unlocks on the 26th -- I'm concerned about how few of my friends I've convinced to buy the PC version, though.

Don't worry, there's still me and KvP who joined up with two people from KW to buy the game. So I'm pretty sure we'll often have someone to co-op with.

I bought the Steam version, too, I figured saving 15 bucks would be worth the extra week.

With all the raving I've seen for this game I think I'll just have to buy it. Next week at some point, probably.

Gamertag's MickFM if anyone's up for a game, although you'll all no doubt have ridiculously strong characters before I've even loaded up the game. :(

just found a huge revolver called "Unending Justice" that, along with being very powerful and having a huge scope, regrows it's own ammo constantly.

I can't decide which platform to get this on.  Can you play it 3rd-person?  This is the only way I'd be able to play it on 360.

Actually, I dunno.  I've watched a few gameplay videos and it looks like maybe I could get it on 360.  Decisions!

See, this is why we need cross-platform multi and/or a cross-platform license.  Buying one game and being able to download it for all your platforms and activate with your cdkey (and only play one at a time, obviously) would be sweet.

I could care less about achievements, but trust me, you don't want to have to deal with Live. All that shit with Live accounts and gamertags and e-mail addresses, it's absolute torture to get through. All of the games that required GFWL to play were ruined for me before I could even begin.

I found a revolver that does 41x7 damage and I was only level 12. I dumped some skill points into Gun Crazy and proceeded to one-shot every effing enemy who didn't have a shield until I made it out of the dahl highlands. With a lucky critical, I one-shotted an enemy vehicle. With a revolver. I love this game.

Nah, turns out you have to restart Steam once before you can decrypt it.  However, I've been reading that some other people are still having issues starting the game, we'll see if they affect me in about 2 minutes.

Initial impressions:

-contrary to my initial hopes, the PC version is definitely a port
-no anti-aliasing and mouse smoothing make it extremely aggravating, especially as a sniper
-Gamespy sucks hard

My GID is Rhythmikk, I guess our Steam IDs won't be good enough.

Yeah Steam forums are exploding with bug reports. Plenty of people seem to have access to the game but it seems like at least for certain regions Valve pushed back the release date 3 days without prior notice. So yeah, surprise!

I am still waiting to get the guns that shoot bullets in smiley face spreads.

Anyone find any cool little hideaways?  There's that big raider outpost in the Arid Badlands on a rock, and I found a little shed a little ways away from there with a small basement with a red chest and a couple psycho midgets.

Just wait. Bunch of people on on the PA forums said they were having the same problem but if you wait it works fine. apparently it just "appears to freeze" but will work after a little bit. I don't know how long or anything or even if that's totally true since i play on 360 anyway, but it seems like a common problem.
