Ahhh Jeph, you certainly know the old Klingon expression about revenge.

Hey, is that Marten's dad when he was a young man?     :-D

Ha!  I knew Hanners would come!

Also, is it just me, or does Hanners' hair look kind of animeish?

Somewhat. Ever since she cut her hair i've thought she looked like this character from Bleach called Kotetsu Isane.

God damn it now I'm never going to unsee this.

At first, I thought Angus was commenting on Marigold's speed in leaving her boob-lock on Hanners (three cheers for not throwing Mar-Bear across the room into the hamper!) and fleeing to the bathroom to hork. It actually took me a couple of reads to realize that Jeff just doesn't use "hites" all that much. The jaunty angle of fleeing Hanner-hair finally hit me with the clue stick.

I'd like to know how Hanners managed, between panels 3A and 3B, to free her arms. Of course, between 4A and 4B, she freed her whole self, ninja style. I wonder if she's taken lessons from Short Packed!'s Ninja Rick. Ninjas are clean creatures, right?

Maybe there will be a new 5H mnemonic.

Hugging Hanners Heralds Hilarious Horking

I think what happened is that the last panel (Hanners standing next to Angus) is shortly after Marigold bolted for the toilet, maybe up to a good 30 seconds after Mar-bear had started the horking in 4A ("hurp").

Personally, you need to recruit her for the olympic sprint teams -
I dunno; how would the IOC feel about someone hired to stand behind Hannelore and spew chunk?
Not well, probably. I think that's why hurling is not an olympic discipline.
It's messed up that hurling isn't an Olympic "discipline", but Women's Field Hockey is.

Soooo.... since penises are quite commonly depicted as columns of light, does this comic mean that Sousuke-kun is a tentacle monster?

Alas, like has been already said, there's absolutely no indication that Marigold has had the time to head for the toilet. Angus' remark even suggests the contrary.

Northampton, MA.…is nicknamed The Paradise City.
So the grass is green and the girls are pretty?

Don't know about that, but judging by the faux-castle in the Wikipedia photograph, they hired Walt Disney as the town planner.
Uncle Walt was the planner? I wonder if he came up with this plan?

Wowwwwwwwwww. Okay. Reading QC is usually the first thing I do of a morning if I don't catch it before I fall asleep. Beginning to think this is a bad idea, as I was VERY confused looking at the comic (and the page title on my Firefox browser) until I reached the newspost.

Still, though, the light. Is he like, the Japanese Edward of Twilight? Does he sparkle? SPARKLE-PEEEEEEN.

Not the best attempt of the day.  Though, at least Jeph hasn't gone gone Gaga, been foiled in an attempt to create a image board, was taken over by unix, or outright killed himself in the process of making a JOKE.

Personally, I think the best April Fool of they day was Youtube's TEXTp.  But then, I'm a fan of ASCII art.

WOW.  I love acsii art, too and you'd almost believe the reasonning!  Still, it's all about deception...

I gave a test today, and went into the room with a stack of scratch paper 5 times as thick as the test, with the tests on top.  Thunked it on the desk.  Went about the usual preparatory remarks. then heaved the stck back up, and said,"Alright, time for the test!"

After a moment of absolutelly terrorized looks from the students I pulled the actual stack odf test papers off the top, dropped rest of the stack, and said "April fools!"

I'll be enjoying that one for years...

You might try this one: the class before the exam, after incessant demands to know "What's going to be on the test," the teacher says "now I'm going to show you your actual exam. Get ready." And then, twelve feet away from the front row, he holds up the exam one sheet at a time, gesturing in front of each page hand-model fashion.  Of course, no one saw anything of value, although one ass did have the chutzpa to say, pencil in hand, "slow down!"

Even if she got her crush crushed, Marigold is lucky to have someone like Hanners.

On a completely unrelated note, the idea of Hanners going all super saiyan with her stored-up freakout is kinda... alluring.

Still gonna be heartbreaking when Marigold finally regains consciousness.

Insert Morbo 'OCD DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY' image macro here, though.
Insert Phillip J. Frye "How do you know? Maybe it's like light, or electricity, or fast food." image macro here.

Been pretty well established that it doesn't work that way.  What it does mean is that she's making some kind of progress, and can even joke about it.

However, Hanners' OCD tends to be about cleanliness.  She made Marigold clean up quite a bit first!  Ad she has sses with being touched, here she is not being hugged but rather she is initiating a gentle touch in a relatively safe manner on someone who's sleeping.  Improvement, yes, but small steps, as they should be!

And I'm sure afterwards, she'll wash her hands... but right now she feels needed.  Sometimes it's enough to overcome a fear!

My first reaction was this is the difference between male and female friends.  Male friends would likely be storing most of this ifo for future embarassing stories, rather than being maternal.  [First time the puking aftger drinking too much happened to my brother my father's reaction was to make sure that he didn't fall in the bathroom after the dry heaves then to wake him the next morning for Church.  Don't worry Dad made sure there was a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs!  Drink if you want, but be ready to do what you're supposed to the next morning.]

Our maybe just my male friends...

This is what happens when you leave your video camera unattended around people who are drinking.

Is it cold in here?

I think the next poll will be about how Hannelore got to be that good-hearted. Not to mention knowing the right things to do.

Clearly didn't learn it from Mom...

Maybe from the best nanny money could buy?

I was wondering, too, how Hanners learned to do the Mom thing, considering her example. That maternal look in panel five is, well, moving, and not at all what we'd expect from Sauron her mother. Maybe her dad, defying all preconceptions, is like that, at least when he's not planning how to accidentally reconfigure the universe.

On a completely unrelated note, the idea of Hanners going all super saiyan with her stored-up freakout is kinda... alluring.

Yes, it could go OVER 9000!!

Hannermom has emerged - Or she could be crushing on Mari-Bear herself    :-D

Yeah...my theory is that Hanners' biological clock has started ticking. Its so intense for her that she invents the artificial womb, steals a guys sperm (whom she has previously judged to be the perfect donor (probably Marten's)), sends all the equipment up to her dad in the space station, and viola, we have a perfect OCD Hannerbaby for her to take care of.

Also, Hanners won't go Super Saiyan from her freak out, she'll transform into Freakazoid, because everyone knows thats what a freak out does.
