1649 Alternate Ending
« on: 25 Apr 2010, 19:35 »

I lack the skill to provide a drawn version of this comic, but a script is the next best thing.

Panel 1
Penny:  You Twit!  You DILETTANTE!  You… you ASSBUTT!
Faye:   Dora, make Penny stop being mean to me!
Dora:  C’mon, Penelope.  You know Faye just likes to complain.

Panel 2
Penny:  That mindset is just so offensive.  I’d KILL to be able to write or edit books for a living.  To throw away that kind of opportunity just because it feels like WORK… ugh.
Dora:  How would you feel about editing Anne Rice novels?

Panel 3
Penny:  (shocked)

Panel 4
Penny:  (cries)
Dora:  Shit.

Presumably someone has to insert the punctuation....

People like Jimbo's novels, too.

Doesn't make 'em good...

Depends on whether you consider Cromwell's brand of Puritanism and military dictatorship good times, but what ever floats your boat.

Yeah, but that was when she was still gothy Dora, so I assume she was attracted by the subject-matter rather than any literary merit.

Dora:  How would you feel about editing Stephanie Meyer novels?
would have made more sense really. that would have made any sane editor cry their eyes out.

There is no editing in the entire Universe that will improve that hack Myers books

Except using a TARDIS and going back and running her over with a steam roller
