If I were to predict anything, it's that Faye panics, they back off a little, and continue this dance that's not holding people's interest the way you'd think it would. I suspect we'll shift to some other storyline, though.

Wildcard: Sven happens by and sees them, but they don't see him. But Gina Biggs covered that last Thursday, so I don't expect lighting to strike twice.

Also, this is by far the happiest and most at peace I ever recall seeing Faye. While I don't "ship" anyone in this comic in particular, I hope this goes better for her than the thing with Sven.

Sassapalooza is a take off on Lollapalooza, a term confiscated by a multi-artist concert tour.

So it's the Lollapalooza of sass. Or something.

Faye is entirely too happy, and this is entirely too cute, for there not to be some kind of hella-hella drama right around the corner.

It's good to see Faye happy. But don't worry, guys! When Faye remembers that she left her sweater/jacket at the restaurant, she'll head back there, alone, but she won't meet Sven, and she won't meet her undead Dad. She'll just grab her sweater and head home again -- only to be run over by a tank by Dale, who has decided to gank Marigold IRL. Dun-dun-DUNNNNN.

While I'm sure there are still angsty times ahead for Faye, I kinda doubt that Jeph will be heavy-handed about it. Awkwardness and sass will continue to ensue.
