It's just one scar on her right boob (that's stage left for us), and it's pretty clearly there. I thought it was tastefully done, not huge and obvious but it's there.

I personally tend to get pleasantly tired during the afterglow, but so long as I don't actually fall asleep, after about ten minutes I pretty much get as energised as Angus is here.

And ten points go to both of them: Angus for doin' the right thing by his lady, and Faye for managing to open up both physically and emotionally to a man for the first time in the entire comic. Big d'awwwwww moment even without the sexy.

Not to be nitpicking here, but why does the drawer opens toward the bed? As it's below the bed level it seems like it only will open a little before bumping into the mattress. However it's enough to put in and pull out magazines in there. So could this be Faye's secret porn stash?

Well the last I heard in uni some years ago (from a bunch of chix!) was that post gasm guys get some hormone released into the bloodstream that makes them slumber...
Tho evolution only knows what Darwinian benefit that would bestow...

Then again - today's comic explains it. Guys who fall asleep are alot more likely to survive than those who immediately go out and wrestle a bear.

Foreshortening. Hers is running from the point of her shoulder (a high point, she's on her side) down to his chest, which is lower. His is running up from his elbow (on the bed) to his chest. The vertical distance combines with the vertical POV to make them look shorter than they are.

No, they're there. I saw it in both panel one and two. You're looking more at the top of her cleavage and mistaking her scar for that.

Actually, it's the other way 'round - I'm only 3rd generation from the Germans/Romanians/Poles/Russians of my descent, and several of their relatives wound up going north - there's a street in Toronto with my family name, along with a delicatessen, and Google turns up several professsionals (Doctors & Lawyers) with the same (uniquely misspelled) surname.

Depending on the mammal, the act of intercourse really zaps the energy and the body releases the hormones etc needed to put the animal into a deep sleep so that when the animal awakes, he is fully fresh. You find this post-intercourse snooze is more common with mammals that live in groups so that the other animals can provide a certain amount of protection - even if the male sleeping is the dominant one... Remember in terms of human evolution that we too, as cave dwellers, also used to live in groups and evolutionary still retain this "Darwinian benefit". Although we as a species no longer hang around in groups in the same way, following from mammal traditions we only have intercourse when we feel relatively safe and not in immediate danger...

Every morning for the past few weeks I have been checking this comic first thing in the morning before class. And I must admit, at 6 AM when the QC page loaded up and I saw Faye and Angus post-coital, I fist pumped the air for joy!! I checked it again during my computer's class and made my friend (who knows I read QC but knows nothing about it) give me a weird look when he saw all those flesh colored pixels. Haha!
