This Alien/Predator motorbike was the featured photo in today's newspaper. The alien itself is made from automobile scrap. They said the maker, Roongrojna Sangwongprisarn, was hard to find on the internet, but nothing this awesome stays hidden from google for long.

You need to re-host these images instead of hotlinking to the original site. It probably works for you because it's already cached, but they don't come through for the rest of us.

The comic is meant to be ironic (well, panels 3-5), the people who really care seem to be the one's who aren't comicbook readers.

This is one of those things that has been picked up by political pundits of a certain stripe who use it as an example of how White Anglo-Saxon Protestant culture is under attack in Amurrica. They've probably never read a Spider-Man comic in their lives, nor their followers who then go to comic message boards to protest by organizing boycotts of a product they never bought in the first place. Geek culture may also have issues with this change, but that's pretty standard for ANY time the comic companies mess with their favorite superheroes.

And for the required pointless quotient to this post: Zombie Head bowling balls.

Thanks both Tom and Jimor for the explanation. I honestly didn't know some political stuff was going on. For me comics are... well, comics to have fun with.

Although I was quite pissed off that Keanu Reeves was Constantine. Just the same way I was a little pissed off that Terry Fitzgerald from the movie Spawn was white on the movie. But those are small things that didn't really stop me from seeing the movies back then.
