Ah, mah gawd! I'm utterly delighted. I was actually debating changing my icon yesterday but now I can't, or at least need to stick to the Sheamus theme because of my new found adoration of him.

I love how cat fights start out as just plain ol' slap fights. Then I remember they are playing slap fight with knife hands.

Edit: Also, this isn't really pointless, but this is about the best place I can think of to share this. So Marvel had a comic where Havok gave a speech which reeks a lot of real life arguments made by anti-feminists, critics of the LGBT community and 'I don't see color' types. This is an article talking about Rick Remender's really horrible reaction to criticisms of it.

This is the comic in question.

This was Brian Bendis's response to his speech, which I think is fantastic.

Yeah, I definitely dislike that erasive, assimilation nonsense.

Something else that's great on comics I just saw:

It's the catbus from My Friend Totoro.

Only this one's a grumpy catbus.

Figures it'd be one of the three or four anime's I've ever seen...

From the might-have-been department: Just now, I could have played CUMP in Scrabble. Except I was playing online and it wasn't in the dictionary, so it wasn't playable.

Still, I could have played CUMP. On a triple word score for 30 points.

Granted, 30 is only middling-good, but still... I could have played CUMP.

Naaaaah, they are not like that. Although I enjoy a joke the australian comedian Steve Hughes made about swedish:
- So where are you staying?
- I got nowhere to stay...
- Oh... Well, good luck finding somewhere to stay. If you are still here in a year perhaps I will tell you my name.

That's of course an stereotype.

PS: I know your avatars rotate all the time but before posting this you had Lain as your avatar and I wanted to say "hell yeah Serial Experiments Lain. Love it!"

According to this, yes, but the reason for that might be that when you're standing nearby enough for the other person to be able to talk to you, you are expected to talk to them, and to avoid that everyone just stands far away enough so that won't be necessary. So you could say that Swedish customs regarding talking to strangers are actually more sociable than those in other Western countries, because we have no trouble sitting in on someone else's conversation space in silence.
