Day 4

Dawn breaks and with comes a sense of trepidation and fear. The survivors come out of their rooms and count their numbers. It soon becomes apparent to them that Game And Watch Forever is missing.

Slowly making their way to GWF's room, they find a ruined door with bloody hand prints dotted along the frame. Inside they find the source of blood, GWF, hanging upside down by their ankles, eviscerated and their throat slit from ear to ear.

Quickly closing the door and running away, the group breaks down, unable to take in the horror before them.

(GM note. 24 hours is plenty of time to send a message. To the player who did not send that message and was holding up the rest of the game, your turn is wasted. Sorry about this, but its not exactly fair to keep the others waiting)

Angry and sickened, the group turns on each other, with many accusing TRVA123 as being one of the killers. As TRVA tries to run; a mad, desperate attempt to escape the snow covered building, they are grabbed by the group and taken to Cesium133's laboratory. There, they were locked inside a fume hood and exposed to several noxious compounds, a slow and suffocating end for the campus stoner.

In the end, all that had been done was the senseless murder of a student.

Alas, TRVA123's death would not be the last for this day. As the group makes their way to respective rooms, a scream comes out from one of the rooms. Rushing to the source of the scream, they find Unicorn's body, torn and bloody from an improvised trap. Beside Unicorn's body, a bloody knife, the same used to kill Linds. It appears that Unicorn was one of the killers, but that's cold comfort for the survivors, as now there is another killer roaming the halls.

NIGHT 4

Alright, so we have a dead murderer here and a living one roaming the halls. The improvised trap suggests that going anywhere alone is an even worse idea than usual. So now what do we do?

OOC: Does anyone else recall the GM ever saying anything about there being three killers? I thought I saw that in the signup information somewhere but I can't find it now.

GM Note. - The roles are only being revealed as players are being killed, to add a certain degree of mistrust. Seeing as how there are only four players left, the remaining roles are - one student, one vigilante and two killers.

Day 5

Night end and with it comes another nightmare.

De_la_nae and Loki walk out of their respective rooms, trembling and afraid of what fresh horror awaits them.

They do not have to wait long as they find Riccostar and Black_Sword, dead. Both appear to have stabbed each other in the stomach in what could only be described as mutually assured murder.

Carrying out the now daily ritual, the pair go through the rooms of the dead, to find out some sort of answer for the madness that infected the campus. In Riccostar's room they found a scrapbook, detailing another spate of murders, and on the last page, a newspaper photo of Riccostar, carried away from the last of the murders on a stretcher, the last survivor of another murderer's crimes. It appears that Riccostar had been a survivor who snapped when faced with another serial murderer and decided to fight back.

In Black_Sword's room, something far more disturbing was found. Hidden beneath the bed was a set of vicious knives; all bloody, the knives used in the murders. Black_Sword was the second of the killers, leaving only one more killer to be revealed.

As de_la_Nae begins to realise the truth, a hand grabs her hair and a flash of silver streaks across her neck. "Sorry about this, but we can't have you telling people the truth, now can we? It might get in the way of my 15 minutes of fame." whispers Loki as he releases his grip and lets de_la_Nae's dead body drop to the ground. "Yes officer, they went crazy. It was insane. Black_sword killed de_la_Nae and then tried to kill me and Riccostar. They fought and ended up killing each other. I...I don't know how I survived." Smiling to himself as he sees the snow has melted enough to escape, Loki looked down at de_la_Nae's body and asked "I wonder if I can get an interview on the Tonight Show?"

Killers Win.

the experiment was a success. I was really stoked to have found some people who had the same interests as me. Of course, I realized that the two of them would get in my way eventually, but that problem, quite fortunately, solved itself. I am the only one left. Everyone else is gone.

It's weird, I kinda feel alone now. Well. There is more science.

Pretty much the latter. Riccostar was a student who snapped after the third murder.

Again, the main clue against Unicorn just seemed worded like it wasn't something we should put much emphasis on. Looking back at my own arguments though, I probably should have reasoned that if I felt confident about Loki, I should be more suspicious of Unicorn, but I let other stuff get in the way of that. 

I'm probably just going to spectate for a game or two. Work's busy and I feel like I want an outsider's opinion on a game (I didn't really follow the first one much and played or hosted in the rest). I feel like the town's record should be a little better than this.

What I found interesting in this game was that everyone was quite happy to detain someone for the night, but bring up the prospect of a lynching and only a vocal few said anything. Which again shows why the village keeps losing. They don't want to kill someone, because there is the off chance that whomever they pick is innocent.

The thing is, this helps protect the killers. They know that in all likelihood, they'll escape detection and put some other person up for the noose. Which is what happened in this game, I've noticed.

I was somewhat tempted to have a rule that people sent me a pm of who they wanted to lynch, just to see how people might act. If I run another game, I might just try that. But thats a big "if".
