Perhaps Unicorn was the first to enter the room and rushed to check Linds, thus the blood was transferred to Unicorn's shirt. Or maybe Unicorn was one of the people who helped move Linds' body. That's from a story telling perspective, but from a game's perspective, no evidence was going to outright clear or condemn someone. Evidence was supposed to keep people in the limelight, but it would be up to the others to take that cue, not that Unicorn may have been nominated once or two for a lynching, but note that it never happened.
