Easy to find out. Just try to execute that jump from a kneeling position. And then get enough height to kick someone in the shins. Harder than he makes it look.

I can just about get my heels under me when I try that. There's no way I'd be able to kick someone doing that.

The answer is no. It's a cool trick, but it's not viable even if you can do a kip up or the kip kick maneuver the gentleman in the .gif performs. When performing an unarmed defense against a firearm your first and primary task is to get the barrel off line with your body. It is VERY possible that the opponent would fire at any point in the defense, leaving you injured at best.

Me? Hahah. Fuck no. Not even when I was running 20 minute 5ks and doing 20 pull ups pretty much daily was I ever able to get those. It's a combination of having the right build and developing the right musculature. I was always way too dense to get a good throw from the ground like that.

That dollar + is automatic for most bidding sites. If Lee and I are competing for something, and I put in a final bid $50 greater then his largest, it's only going to put in the minimum bid required to beat his bid.
