Judging by the uniforms I would say Marine Corp. A good way to tell them apart is that the army combat uniform appears greenish grey while the Marine uniforms have a more brown tinge. Also the Marine cover(hat) is a hexagon while the army cover is round.

I know about their cover but the two in the background are too far away and facing a different direction haha.  Honestly upon a second glance it is marine, if you notice the marine to the far right's shirt displays what looks like an eagle globe and anchor. Nice catch on the color.  I figure it was just desert camo.

Navy/USMC is the only branch that has a desert camo pattern. Army and Air Force deploy to Afghanistan in Multicam, which is a green/brown non-digital pattern. In garrison, us Army grunts are stuck with god-awful UCP, a grey/blue digital pattern. It's just been confirmed that we'll be switching to Multicam by the end of 2016, though.

My building houses the Army corps of engineers HQ (I think its the HQ) so I see lots of camo but so many other services come and go that its hard to keep track as I am running to and fro.

@LeeC I consider it a point of pride to be able to identify a military by it's equipment in detail. I'm far from being an expert but typically I can take a pretty good guess. Knowing obscure unit insignia and history are useful.

I'm pretty fond of our ACUs, especially now that they've replaced the cargo pockets' velcro fasteners with actual buttons. That said, I hate UCP with a passion and look forward to the permanent changeover to OCP.
