Joe continues to ensure he won't get laid anytime soon, I see. And so much for Joyce being the only 10+ on his list.

I'd be a lot more sympathetic to Rachael's plight if she wasn't suddenly throwing judgement at complete strangers.

Joe never learned her name, and doesn't realize that's because someone just left a pair of glasses on a beanbag...which was given a 7.5.

There are few interpersonal problems that cannot be solved with free baked goods.

More interesting, Joe is finally telling us what happened to Ryan. It must be pretty bad that Joe is using the term 'eviscerated' and it must have been quite a public incident if it is this rather than Ross running around with a rifle that has inspired the college authorities to beef up security!

So, it looks like 'self defense' was what was told the police. Which in fairness, it was.. to a point. Ryan did come after them with a knife. How Amber reacted to that is what makes it questionable. I'm still getting sick of this dancing around the subject though.

This is fascinating; I'm honestly wondering if (with the likely exception of Dorothy), no-one is judging Amber more harshly than Amber herself. She's always feared that she is a monster but this is one of the few times she's let it off the leash (nearly beating her father to death was the previous time). I think that what she needs is to be assured that she isn't a freak and that people are not scared of her.

Trust Mike to get Amber to take action! There is nothing worse than having someone standing next to you and advocating the worst parts of your internal self-image as positives to get you to leave an indecision loop.

Given that this is Mike, this is almost certainly intentional. With Mike, of course, it is impossible to tell if this is from a genuinely-positive intent or if he believes that getting Amber moving would spread chaos and unhappiness. Perhaps, like the Walkyverse!Mike, he likes the idea of a dangerously violent and abusive woman and he's trying to get one?

Why not both? He helps out someone he actually kind of likes, and spreads discord to everyone else.

I'm quite looking forward to Amber's reaction to Joe's Free Apology Donut Stall. She's probably missed the whole list leaking thing for understandable reasons. Her sense of logic is pretty strong and something tells me that these events will violate all of those rules!

This is Amber we're talking about here. Self-condemnation is in her character, as is treating anyone liking her or caring for her as proof of a character flaw on their part.

Poor kid; I really hope that she gets some kind of help!

What Amber desperately needs right now is for her friends to refuse to let her isolate herself. By all means, give her distance and privacy (she probably needs to think about stuff) but don't let her just shut herself away. Have a relay of visitors to ensure she is okay and have people march her down to the canteen for meals with the most supportive group you can put together (recommended: Dorothy, Danny, Ethan and maybe Joyce; Becky would likely put her foot in her mouth and Sal would just trigger a flashback). Make sure that Amber realises she isn't being rejected and, if she asks why, make sure that you explain it to her.

So...
Mary has been unusually happy since the little time skip.

Almost as if what occurred prior o that time skip has CAUSED her new-found happiness and general 'bongoness' towards others.
Almost as if she may have gone through similar, if not worse, an incident as Joyce... at scarface's hands...

Almost as if... Willis is setting up all the, "Mary is a horrible, terrible, irredeemable person!!" people, with a huge, "Well, FU - This is how victims can react when living with it!"

Might not be the case... but *I* think it would be a very interesting twist!
