The top picture is cute.. The funny thing being, given what we found out in the recent birthday episode Steven may never look like that... He might be the eternal 11 year old. Unless he gets poofed and reforms. Something that they're understandably reluctant to test out since catastrophic damage could result in him poofing, or dying... On the other hand, he did grow more or less normally as a human till 11, so maybe his aging just slowed way, way down. so many questions!
