Can't really see what the vietnamese one says, but they're all variations of "fah" where the a isn't an a sound, and the expected "fo" of "photon" before the vietnamese one.

So all pho puns are correct.

The Wikipedia article has an audio link as well. Some other places online say the pronunciation varies regionally inside Vietnam.

South Park had its decline a decade or so ago, but then it recovered fairly quick and has been for the most part at least pretty good, with most seasons having very good episodes. Not really crazy about this season so far, but a running story is fairly new to them.

I don't know. I say "fuh", when speaking the word. If those who argue for a Chinese origin of the word (from 粉 fěn, meaning "noodle", with the final "n" sound dropped) are correct, that would reinforce that pronunciation, but it is perfectly possible that, to the Vietnamese ear, I say the word with a Chinese accent.

To be fair, I always hear everything in an accent. I had honestly previously heard everything you said in sort of a ... I don't know how to exactly explain it, but "John Carter yellow people of Mars" comes closest. Knowing the actual truth simplifies things.

I don't really know what anyone sounds like...I mean I guess Redball since I met him two years ago but I literally have no memory of his voice, so even him. Also nekowafer and bain in the dub...I don't remember what they sound like either. I mean if I heard their voices I'd probably recognize them? But I'm bad with voices. And names. And...sort of with faces.

There's a lot of massive holes in rail infrastructure where you have to go many times further out of your way just to get to a hub, than it would be to go direct.

Since, I assume, there is no prohibition on women putting their hair up in a bun, this policy is sexist, in addition to its other problems. If any Sikhs attend BYU, this prohibition would amount to religious discrimination too.

No, but there's a moral code you have to agree to that includes, among other things, a prohibition on caffeine. Which as far as I'm concerned is a dealbreaker.

...why mustaches? Those are my least favorite facial hair with very few exceptions (Nick Offerman and Tom Selleck amongst them, of course).

Plus personally I wouldn't wanna give up my beard or beer. The sex...wouldn't have been a problem in college :/

I am often in a similar state. I dislike shaving. My facial hair grows slow as shit. However, it does grow, and I was told repeatedly by my mildly autistic cousin Paul, who saw me after three full days of not shaving, that I could absolutely grow a better beard than most of his family. Than him, perhaps, but that uncle has one hell of a goatee.

I have a Mo. Tried growing a Beard a couple of times over the years, but I don't grow them right. I end up looking scraggly and ugly. I suppose if I were to let it grow really long, it might look OK, but I don't want to end up looking like some 19th Century guy.
