Claire: "OMG! YOU CAN SMILE!"
Brun (still utterly deadpan): "I know. This is the most emotive I've been in my life."

CLAIRE: "You... You're kidding!"

BRUN: "No, this interpretation is entirely accurate. The giant oil can picture really is a figurative representation of national energy policy for the last 25 years."

claire: Oh my god, Vampires?

Brun: “A certain clockmaker, in one of the chief towns of Silesia, in the year 1591, September 20, on a Friday, betimes in the morning, in the further part of his house, where there was adjoining a little garden, cut his own throat with his shoemaker's knife.”

A good pun is it's own reword.
There is a difference between spare parts, extra parts and left over parts.

The Venn diagram  for Common Sense and Good Sense has very little, if any, overlap.

Claire: "Eeeeeeeeeeee! And then what did Elliot and Bubbles do? Did they hug? Did they kiss?!"

Brün: "They started flexing their muscles in an amazing posedown until Bubbles' battery reached 1% and Elliot passed out."

A "buttload" is an actual measurement, next time someone tells you that they need a buttload of something, tell them 126 gallons might be a bit too much.

Also, I'm going to be traveling from July 28 through August 11 so I need somebody to cover the caption contest for those two weeks. If you're interested send me a PM.

And for anyone who doesn't get the first part, it's the universal greeting from Transformers.

Okay, that's the second time you've used "Te chuta hat'yudd!" in a Captions thread, and the only hit I could find on it with Google was the first time you used it almost two years ago. What's it mean and where's it from?

See Case's reply to me. Case figured it out.

Uh, I had already seen Case's reply before asking you the question. All I got from that reply was that it was from somewhere in the Star Wars mythos, which doesn't really narrow things down too much. Case's video clip was much more illuminating; thank you, Case!
