Okay, Bubbles and Faye have done suturing of a sort before. Can they now throw together the necessary materials and skills to let out Millifeulle's pants? Consider it an 'optional extra'!

Meanwhile, I love Bubbles and Sam in panel 1. Bubbles is just so instinctively maternal there, reassuring Sam that they were only kidding about the finger and helping her not over-react to Millie's new look. Oddly enough, the first thing that came into my mind was: "She'll make a great mother one day!"

Also, I suspect that Faye knows exactly why Milli wanted this mod. Just pick apart what she said in panel 1 and you'll know what I mean! For whose benefit, though?

Sam has learned an important lesson today: When it comes to personal aesthetics, all people are essentially ridiculous because it's all in the eye of the beholder!

Not every country does a Thanksgiving Day.
Does *any* other country have one in that form/date?

Small scale harvest festivals maybe.
Halloween has been bleeding through, although mostly for people dressing up spookily, and some minor trick or treating.

Oh, black Friday has become a thing. Lots of deals. "deals". But not "people are going to be trampled".

Hmmmmh - I had assumed Thanksgiving was a version our "Erntedankfest" ('Thanks for the harvest'. First Sunday in October), but it isn't. Good to know.

I built both my last two without any blood, and that included two Noctua air coolers with sharp (I opened a package with one because my knife was too far to reach) fins and a couple drive caddies with sharp edges on the insides...  But then, I wasn't in a hurry like I usually am either.

Well, you have to complete the ritual properly.

It's why I prefer to work on Windows PCs.  Apple, in its proprietary wisdom, requires the blood of an Apple Genius, which are in limited supply and usually guarded by local authorities, so you pretty much HAVE to bring it in to the store to be fixed.  Windows is more flexible and will usually accept any human, or even some animal blood!

Linux Users Groups have the right idea though, creating a group whose members can each provide a small amount of blood that, once combined, still satisfies the requirement.

It's a workshop. Faye probably should be wearing a long sleeved top, and nothing loose. So I guess all they have is emergency work clothes, which may not fit Milly's style.

Basically, this is Jeph responding to all the petty complaints that I've seen (especially on Reddit) about the previous few strips and the claims people have made that it's a deliberate attempt to 'sell' his Patreon to readers who only go to the free strips.

By definition a comments board must be welcome to positive and negative. However, really, I don't think that a prolonged debate about the artist's likely income and their ethical character is entirely appropriate. If anything it comes across as a bit obsessive and stalker-y.

I don't doubt for a moment that it's a conscious attempt to get more people onto Pateron, but also agree that the kind of discussion you're alluding to is on the nose. If he gets a few more paying customers by drawing robot butts, power to him.

I totally agree with this, though that's not what's motivating the following question:

So for anyone who does have the Patreon level, are all the previous bonus strips available there, or have they expired off to some hidden archive somewhere?

The Patreon supporters got the uncensored strips. They're still there as long as you're a Patreon.

I don't think that Patreon ever delete old content but their search function is a laughable fiction. You'd have to manually scroll through Jeph's posts to find what you're looking for.

As far as I can tell, it's all there, as long as it is part of the chosen Patreon tier.

It's not like JJ wants to milk us for money, but losing 15 hurt people is probably better for his finances than losing the entire advertising income of a few days.

And that was the issue: Google Ad Search would dry up instantly if they classified his strip as pron.

New Comic Up!

I think that working for Faye is going to be a learning experience for Sam in ways that Jim never intended! I think it's kind of cute watching Pintsize and Sam interact and trying to react on the same level. They could easily spend hours trying to work out the mysteries of Faye's self-censorship!

Something I learned from Patreon: We have a recurring footer text today as Jeph forgot to change it as he was rushing off to his relatives' Thanksgiving celebration!

Nothing, Pintsize knows what'll happen to him if he does anything.

Hint, it'll involve Marten never being able to find every last bit of Pintsize.

Something I learned from Patreon: We have a recurring footer text today as Jeph forgot to change it as he was rushing off to his relatives' Thanksgiving celebration!

I feel like that footer should just keep popping up from time to time. No explanation, no reason, just a helpful reminder that Sven always pays for his coffee.

Then it should just stop, and later, five years down the line, it becomes a plot point, with the gang dealing with an impostor Sven and him being discovered because he didn't pay for his coffee.

Dusted off my login to ask a very important question.

What does "Sven is not a mooch" in the bottom corner mean? I feel like I'm missing something.

See reply #81 above from BenRG.

It originally appeared at the bottom of #4101.  Then it showed up accidentally on a few recent comics, specifically 4128 and now 4145.  Presumably Jeph starts with an old comic as a template, and if he forgets to change something in it like the footer text, then we'll see an old one.

It's going to become a running gag, isn't it?

Even the leak-proof and self-starting seals?
Where would Pintsize get seals (the animal kind, whether they have ambition or no) in Noho and where in that apartment would he keep them?  There's too many people there to put them in the bath...

Perhaps a perpetual poll option?

To be honest, if it replaces spathe ham, I am okay with it.

Pintsize plus an impressionable young teenager? what could possibly go wrong! :psyduck:

Everything. Not could, but will. Ask Murphy.

It is now part and parcel of the comedy beets. [Tiny Toon Adventures S1 E36 Animaniacs]
