Some people both here and elsewhere have complained that nothing was resolved, that Faye and Bubbles learned nothing from this incident, etc. I don't think it's quite that bad. Faye's apology was far from generic--she acknowledged what she had done wrong, and--I think this line is important--said "I know you're just tryin' to make sure we do good work" without another character having to tell her that.
Faye is, in many ways, a bit of a flake. But the same can be said of a lot of people. Who knows if their relationship will withstand the test of time? Most don't.
Also someone asked if Faye was in AA. She attended a support group ("No Creeps. We have a separate group for creeps.") where people were telling their stories. She got a sort of "I'm not alone" half smile on her face. She has since made references to stuff she has been told like "it's like a muscle" which to me implies that she went back at some point, just not on-screen. Now, was this AA? Northampton being Northampton, I would not be surprised if it was some sort of alternative to AA where you don't have to believe in god, they don't care if you smoke pot instead of drinking, etc. I have never been involved in AA, but some people who have complain that it is a bit like a cult, and have tried to develop alternatives.
