Love The Silver Beatles (Stones as well)

Have to go with George, but personallity-wise Ringo's funny as hell.

Obviously George is the better songwriter, but Ringo's drumming is better than George's guitar playing, so I vote Ringo!

George tryed realy hard with his guitar, that's why he never smile while playing it.

And Ringo's not even the best drummer in the Beatles.

Beside, have you ever seen nicer cheekbones the Georges.......

Ringo can't play drums, Harrison was a very versatile guitar player and songwriter. Sorted.

George Harrison. His songs fill me with love and joy, but then when his songs end, the love and joy is soon replaced with sadness and ridicule, and I run to my room to cry.

So there is a downside listening to his songs.

ringo.  george annoys me for some reason.
actually, i know the reason.  'piggies' is the reason george annoys me.

words cannot describe how much i hate 'piggies'.  miserable hippie whining against rich people.  boohoo.
plus they put it right after 'blackbird' on the white album, which just ruins everything.

i love ringo's drumming.  i don't know how technically good it is (i'm a guitar player, myself) but it always seems to sound just right for the song.

I was told that the guitar player in Wings (Henry McCullough) was the same guy who did the rockin' intro (where you're "flying" over the Judean terrain) in the movie Jesus Christ Superstar. I'm trying to verify that now, actually, but I know longer have the soundtrack LP.

Although I'm not sure the extent of it - it is generally accepted that  John or Paul would play drums on many of their songs when Ringo couldn't get it right.

I love some Wings - there are some great songs from Paul post-Beatles (and let's not forget John's solo work - ace).  Wings definitely has some cheesy bits to em' but overall a good band.  George's solo stuff I could never get too into as it was mainly very mellow and introspective.

I don't know how "generally accepted" this rumor is, but it isn't true. Paul did, however, play drums on three songs: "Back in the USSR" and "Dear Prudence", because Ringo had temporarily quit the band; and "The Ballad of John and Yoko", because he was off making a movie.
