First, there's this comic over on WebComicsNation called "Palindramas" by Dan Mazur. The concept is that you write a palindrome (a word or phrase that reads the same backwards and forwards), then draw a cartoon to illustrate it.

I've done a few guest strips for that comic. Recently, I came up with the following palindrome, and it just seemed to fit Hannelore and Winslow. I wrote to Jeph and asked if Dan and I could use it as a guest strip over at "Palindramas" ... so far he hasn't replied.

If you're a regular here, please comment. If Jeph sees this, may we please run it over on Dan Mazur's site? Thanks.

Well I can't draw but I do crochet and ppl on craftster said i should show them off here. So here's my Pintsize and Winslow plushies. I did make them to give to Jeph because he was going to be at a con I was going to..but it was a misprint on the part of the con

I took other pics but this is my favorite cause Pintsize looks dangerously cheerful about something and Winslow looks like he's trying to get away. (or else Pintsize pushed him, I can't decide.)

The head is fine - the neck is a little skinny and long, but otherwise this is fine.

The face is too long, mostly because the eyes are too high up, and the forehead is too big, which is accentuated by the height of the hair. I have a tendency toward that and the swan neck. I have to pay real close attention to my proportions. Sometimes just getting it sketched out right takes longer than the painting.

I'm also unhappy with the trapezius, but I think that's because I'm used to drawing more muscular forms and I like to see it well defined.

You do that in mspaint? Not bad if so. But yeah, I am just learning GIMP little by little as I need it. Took a bit of a hiatus from image editing, and back then I used PS.

Now I'm really starting to see my limitations since I don't have a tablet :/
