Awesome!

Funny as hell, all though, it would have been funnier if he's been shirtless in all those sensitive pics. Also would have worked really well with the line about the park.

@ maddness: Thanks! You are probably right about using the shirtlessness in the park shot. But I think it's more special in only one... makes it stand out more. If you like those I do a webcomic of my own at www.suscomic.com

Oh God...I should be set on fire for even posting this, it is so terrible.

http://i34.tinypic.com/315xuno.jpg

Be warned...it is pretty dang terrible. I'm not good at drawing, the scanner is horrible and cuts stuff off, and it isn't even funny. But I had to do this, I was COMPELLED.

The part that is cut off where Hanners is talking says "Sir? The South-Eastern wall has 1,300 tiles."

Edit: For those who have no clue what it is of, the drawing is Hanners with Bean (Far left) and Ender (Middle) from Ender's Game.

The reason it took you a bit to get the joke is because there really isn't one. I felt weird about just drawing the characters silent, so I just filled it in with something I thought they would say.

I also wanted to add that ever since I read this strip I couldn't stop thinking about Hanners in Ender's Game. Anyone else had these thoughts, or am I just weird like that?

Flipping thru channels I saw some Time Life infomercial about classic country songs and I got to thinking about how Sven might have dressed if he were writing songs for Roy Rogers and Marty Robbins instead of today's country drek.  I don't know where Faye fits into that scenario, but I imagine she'd be wholly enthusiastic!

In any case, here's the result.  :)

Okayyyy... I'm pretty knowledgeable about country music (at least from the 1970's), but I can't quite figure out what Faye's trying to encourage Sven to put on/wear.

Hooray! At least she looks like Marigold.  In the string of comics Jeph did about the mini anime/scifi/etc convention, Marigold was wearing a 'I love Haruhi' hoody.

This is Haruhi  (Though I have to say that I'm not exactly sure if this is who he was talking about)

But yes, that part about being horrified is what I was going for.  I doubt Marigold would want to wear something that revealing (at least if there were other people around!).

Man, I haven't been on the forums in four years! Here's hoping I can be more active in the coming days. Anyway, I saw an old post where I drew a fanart of Hannelore in 2006. I thought it'd be fun to try a redraw.

I'm working on that webcomic thing.

For as long as this took, it doesn't look half as good as it should. :( But, I promised myself I'd finish it and put it here.  So here it is...

Not sure exactly *how* it happened, but Marigold and Momo have switched places.  I imagine Marigold as saying 'you shouldn't have touched that button!', but I wouldn't know what button that would be.

Maybe some of you who have seen Chobits can tell me?

Well, I had an episode that took place in a coffeehouse, so I needed some customers ...

BTW, the barista is Caliban, from Shaenon Garrity's Narbonic.

Hannelore seems to be the only one noticing anything unusual about the young lady who came in to apply for a job.  Either her medication is making her hallucinate, or it isn't ... and she's not sure which scares her more.
