Here's mine:

I keep coming back to that HL2 wallpaper for some reason - it's basically the best one I've ever had, I think.

As everyone has probably seen:

The bad girls of Gotham. That sounds like some sort of dodgy porn. I change iit about now and then but I always revert back to this. I think I like the red. And magic lack of icons which freaks people out when they try and use it.

Though just looking at some of the other desktops has me thinking of switching. Yeah, I like the big blue monster in this one.

Heres my Powerbook's desktop when the monitor is hooked up:

Without the monitor, it swiches to a Legend of Zelda - Minish Cap background.

My PC desktop is less interesting.

Here's mine, please excuse the discoloration as MS paint doesn't have good .GIF compression methods, and the .PNG file was 1.3 Mb. BTW, VG Cats is teh Aws0m3z!!!!11!1!

Here's mine

I used to just have a smaller pic in the middle with black everywhere else, but switched to this wide one because my new monitor has a wonky pixel which shows up on black, just to the left of centre.

That's me on the wall @ right. My climbing mate took this, testing out the 'stitching' capabilities of his new camera, but got it kind of blurry. I still like it because it shows a good cross-section of "life in the bouldering-cave."

Dual-monitor desktop

My laptop's screen is 1280x800 widescreen (kinda wish it was higher, but it works.) The Start menu/bar thingy is actually auto-hide, so the desktop is just those three icons.

The background changes about once a week. About half the time it's a minimalistic desktop like this, a quarter of the time it's something I've photoshopped, and a quarter of the time it's some random painting.

It's the OpusOS (deep compact) theme for Windows, assuming that you have a 'fixed' uxtheme.dll.

Umm, Shannyn Sossamon is NOT the actress in Fight Club, that's Helena Bonham Carter. Off the top of my head, Shannyn Sossamon appears in 40 Days & 40 Nights, and A Knight's Tale...

This is mine at school....I'm not supposed to load programs on it..so my first hard drive is empty...the second one has tons of stuff on it.(The IT department doesn't have access to that one because we load the OS and everything)

Thanks. I've just recently got into the series. All I have is the first, third and fourth books relased. I stumbled across a sort of recomended guide as to what order to read them in when I found that.

You can kinda tell I'm a gamer, huh?

Oh, and Discworld rocks. I definitely prefer the covers and art by Paul Kidby to the ones by Josh Kirby, though. They just hit the feel and image of the characters and setting so much more accurately, I think.

Oh, and I desperately want THIS for a desktop.
