Actually, I also want the proviso that we basically just skip Sting and 80's party rap.

...ICE, ICE, BABY...

Came out in 1990 or '91.

You need to get out more.

I'd kill for Steven Page to sing me to sleep every night FOR EVER.

I would kill for a Wilco concept album.

So, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot? Which has just a bunch of recurrent themes, almost every song ends the same way, and has a lot of tracks that play pretty much continuously into eachother?

Yeah so that.

I would pay many hundreds of dollars for a new Mr. Bungle album. I would pay equally large sums to see Sleepytime Gorilla Museum playing with Blue Man Group.

A proper Wilco concept album. Recurring themes and similar endings does not a concept album make. It makes a samey (though awesome) album.

Yes I do.

You need to learn your music trivia. ;-)

I have a better idea.

Lets not choose a Michael Jackson song.

I have an even better idea, let's just stay away from the Jackson family entirely.

I'm suprised that no one's mentioned some sort of Neutral Milk Hotel "reunion" (or whatever the hell you want to call it) which is one of the things I'd defenitly attempt some murder for.

Pavement reuniting would also be one of them.

Seconded. I'd love a new album... On second thought, maybe that would ruin things.

You know, it might ruin things... I mean as much as I loved Two Headed Boy, I'm not sure I could take part three of that song... but man that'd be so worth it.

Reunions:

McLusky
Mr. Bungle
Pavement (except that I like most of the new projects by members more than the original shit)
Idiot Flesh (again, not quite as good as new stuff, but still)

I'd kill for emo to have never hit middle schools.

And for emo to still mean what it meant in 1998 (back when I really had no idea what it meant, but thought I liked it).

OK mainly I just want Far to put out another album AND not have any of "those people" like it.  By "those people" i mean "Bright Eyes Fans".

You're not being ironic about ABBA, are you?

That being said, I might not kill for it, but I would be extremely happy if somebody smacked Matt Barlow upside the head and got him to rejoin Iced Earth. Ripper's a capable singer for sure, but Barlow is irreplacable.

Not the slightest. I really really love ABBA. It used to be a "secret shame" until I stopped caring about that stuff.

Khar, this "common sense" thing of yours seems so overrated.
