I know they're a bit too popular to be well liked around these parts, but I'm still shocked that Guster's drummer/bongo-king, Brian "Thundergod" Rosenworcel, hasn't been mentioned yet.

A bit too popular to be liked around here?  Have you seen Dave Grohl be mentioned, specifically about Nirvana?  I don't think we're having trouble with people being too well-known.

Well, I don't think there's ever been any question as to Dave Grohl's abilities. Guster and Rosenworcel, on the other hand, are still unquantifiable.
