Gratest Movie Ever
Ferahgo the Assassin:
I agree with whomever said that Life of Brian is the best Monty Python film, but that Holy Grail is the most accessible. Some unfortunate individuals will choose to become offended by Life of Brian rather than accepting it for the brilliance that it is... while nearly anyone can get a chuckle out of Holy Grail.
Bastardous Bassist:
Life of Brian is completely inoffensive, in my opinion (which I'm not saying is shared by all). If anything, it promotes Christianity. I mean, it's a parody saying, "What if people followed the wrong person as a savior?" They were originally going to actually directly attack the Bible, but then they read it (because you have to know what you're going after) and realized that it was actually pretty reasonable.
Disclaimer: I am not actually Christian and this is not a support of Christian beliefs.
Kirbo:
Religous types tend to get offended easily. But this direction will lock the thread, so lets discuss Meaning of Life, no religion th.....oh bloody hell.
I'll just go with, Python Rules
Bastardous Bassist:
Flying Circus is fairly a-religious. Who can identify the sketch from which my sig quote comes (the one about the girl)?
Ferahgo the Assassin:
That sketch was pretty hilarious... but I think my personal favorite Python sketch is from TMoL and is the "Every sperm is sacred" one.
Now I want to go watch it again, and inevitably have that song stuck in my head for three days.
