Gratest Movie Ever

Kirbo:
If I'm not mistaken, Bastardous Bassist, that's from the sketch Bogus Psychiatrists.

Bastardous Bassist:
Yup.  One of my favorites.  It's also a great out-of-context quote.  My father and one of his co-workers were trying to get something done close to a project deadline, and they weren't making any progress, so they ended up just sitting in silence staring at the problem, and my dad just suddenly says that line.  His co-worker didn't stop laughing for a good five minutes.

I heard that when filming the Every Sperm is Sacred sketch for The Meaning of Life, they nearly blew the budget. I love the song, it is really funny, but not as funny as the Lumberjack song. That is hilarious.

Kirbo:
Every Sperm is sacred almost blew their budget it's true.

What I like more is they had extra money for The Holy Grail, so they just added more explosions to the Tim the Enchanter scene.

mberan42:
Monty Python is great, I love' em all, blah blah blah.

I went to see Spamalot when it was in Chicago with the original cast before the show went to NYC. (Saw The Producers the same way.) I liked the show, Tim Curry was fantastic, David Hyde Pierce was great, Hank Azaria stole the show, but it was definitely different than the movie. Not in a bad way, 'cause I laughed the whole damn time. But just different. It's wicked hard to take such a cult classic and make a major Broadway production out of it.

/shrug, my 2 cents.
