Smash Brothers Brawl

wraithzero:
Maybe he'll be replaced with Raiden in the actual release.
I'm still hoping they'll put the MGS1 Ninja in there.  And since Konami are letting them have one character, why not more?  Alucard?  [insert name here] Belmont?

0bsessions:
I discussed this with my brother the other day: Snake just seems entirely out of place. I think Simon Belmont would've been a much better choice of a Konami character.

With all his side weapons (Axes, crosses) and his whip (Perfect for a recovery move), he would have been a perfect fit.

Spinless:
The Belmonts don't really have 'character'. Lets face it, Castlevania never had a plot.
Hideo Kojima LOVES his Snake character, and the character has a LOT of fans.
Snake is probably going to be a major selling point, and create more hype and excitement than any Belmont ever could.

Hideo Kojima loves his character Solid Snake. And he loves Nintendo and the Smash Brothers series. Snake making it into Smash Brothers must be a dream come true for the guy, and to me that is reason enough to have him in there.

Ozymandias:
WHAT IS A MAN?

A MISERABLE PILE OF SECRETS!

The Castlevanias have great plots, you jerk.

that reminds me, I would love to see some MGS support trophies.   I was thinking a The End one would be cool, but I don't know how it would work.
