I am really, really happy about Ness being back, he was seriously one of the most fun characters to play.
Though I wonder who is going to be in that last blank spot on the screen.

There are basically 3 opinions right now: those who think the roster as shown in that last pic is the final one and there are no more characters to unlock, those who think that there is one more character to make an even 4 rows of 9 (including the random button) that nobody's unlocked yet, and those who think that there are even more characters and the boxes on the select screen will just shrink to fit in another row/column. I won't pretend to know the answer because I don't know what the players of the leaked Japanese version have/haven't tried yet.

Am I way behind here, but what happened to "Zero Suit Samus"?
Storm Rider:
Zero Suit Samus is a character that can be switched between while playing regular Samus, hence why she's not on the select screen. The difference is, you can't do the switch manually like with Zelda and Sheik, but instead after performing Samus's Final Smash move you become Zero Suit Samus, and vice versa.
Jackie Blue:
If Luigi is in, why not Daisy?
