Music to sleep to.

<< < (11/14) > >>

ruyi:
the album leaf
daft punk's slower songs, like 'make love' or 'something about us'
andain - the singer has a pretty pretty voice.

Johnny C:

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Rockets Fall on Rocket Falls
Pink Floyd - Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Echoes, Astronomy Domine, etc.

As these are the only songs I've heard, I agree with them, Khar. Also I could see myself falling asleep to "North Hanging Rock," I think it's called.

Kid A can be slept to, and so can the last two Wilco studio records. Seriously, try sleeping to A Ghost Is Born and you'll probably be out at the end of "Muzzle Of Bees."

YHF yes, but Ghost Is Born is too loud to sleep to for me. At Least That's What You Said and Muzzle Of Bees have massive, rocky crescendoes that don't work for when I'm sleeping.

However, I agree on Kid A.

Faw:
i'd have to say 'the american dollar'
or 'black dahlia murder' can metal me to sleep any day

IntermittentEvil:
Bohren und der Club of Gore; my favorite CD for sleeping or any activity at nighttime is "Black Earth".  Sunset Mission is good, but not quite as relaxing.
