Simple steps to becoming indie:

Step 1) Go to your local record store, and look for the most pretensious looking employee.  He should be wearing a Blazer, perhaps a scarf.

Step 2) Ask him where you may find the Suf JaN (mak that "n" really hard) or Sigger Roz

Step 3) As he freaks, he'll begin to throw post rock, such as Broken Social Scene, Mogwai, Dinosaur Jr. maybesome Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (not post rock I know) albums at you.  Buy these ones.

Step 4) Wash Rinse and Repeat.  Mispronouncing different bands.  Always look confused, and wear a fiddy cent T.

I listened to Arcade Fire, and they're pretty good. Ted Leo and the Pharmacists are okay.

On a side note, why does good charlette (Spelling? Who cares, they suck.) suck so much ass? I'm not calling them indie, I'm just asking.
