2006 Albums Discussion
Der Golem:
Agalloch - Ashes Against The Grain
Peeping Tom- s/t
Placebo - Meds
I haven't heard the new Mars Volta, but I hear it's good. And Dylan will probably put out a good record. There's also a new Iron Maiden album coming, might be worthwhile but I'm not really counting on it.

I like the lack of Arctic Monkeys. What I can't understand is the inclusion of Matisyahu.

It's been a lean year. Most of the albums I've anticipated so far have been disappointments, and ones I've bought from the eighties or nineties have been great.
Crossing my fingers for Dylan.

This is no excuse for having Matisyahu in your list and not having TVOTR.
Storm Rider:
So far all I've gotten really excited about this year are Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain and Strapping Young Lad - The New Black.
But Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and Rush supposedly all have albums coming out this year, supposedly, and obviously Dylan.
Radiowar:
Mogwai - Mr. Beast
Ochre - Lemodie
Haven't been paying much attention to 2006 releases though. Still catching up on 2000-2004. Hopefully The Roots' album will have a place up there though.
